The Rajya Puraskar Ceremony of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) was held at Dr. Imkongliba Ao hall, Raj Bhavan with the Governor of Nagaland and Chief Patron of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides La Ganesan on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion of the Rajya Puraskar ceremony, the highest award for Scouts and Guides at the state level, the Governor stated that the Scouts and Guides movement fosters the growth and development of young minds by promoting principles of selflessness, compassion, and responsibility. He said that it encourages individuals to become active members of society and contribute positively to the community and further added that the movement will empower young boys and girls to become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow through various activities and initiatives.

The chief patron also said that the program is to recognize and acknowledge the efforts and accomplishments of our young Scouts and Guides. He said that the awards they present on the program are more than mere symbols of recognition. The Governor also said that they are a testament to the hard work, commitment, and exemplary conduct of the young members of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The Governor gave away the certificates to 43 Rajya Puraskar awardees in presence of the Secretary Youth Resource & Sports and other NSBSG officials.
Secretary YRS & VP NSBSG Anthony Ngullie, NCS delivered a keynote address while the program was compered by State Organizing Commissioner (Guide) Vimezhonu Tetso and the vote of thanks was pronounced by VP, NSBSG K. Neibou Sekhose.
