SDG Coordination Centre (SDGCC), Planning & Transformation Department has declared the winners of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Essay Competition that was organised with the key objective to provide a platform for citizens of the state to voice their ideas and solutions for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
There were two categories in the competition- 15 years and below on the theme: ‘My 2030 vision for a sustainable, equitable and green Nagaland’ and 16 years and above on the theme ‘Localizing of SDGs and traditional value system: Prospects, Challenges and Strategies in Nagaland’.

The winners for the category of 15 years and below are-
First: Eunice Y Kikon, Isaiah Ability Higher Secondary School, Wokha
Runner-up: Tokavi K Rotokha, Natha Village, Zunheboto
For category 16 years and above:
First: Keyizaizeule, Bethesda Higher Secondary School, Dimapur
Runner-up: Kekhriesino Meyase, Ashoka University, Sonipat
SDGCC informed that the winners would be contacted individually for the felicitation and award function.
The first and runner-up winners of the SDG Essay Competition will be awarded a cash award of Rs 5000 and Rs 4000 respectively for each of the categories.
