The office of the Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA) has requested all the educational institutions within the jurisdiction of Senapati District to remain closed on August 14 in observance of Naga Independence Day.
“The closure is to honor the historic day when the Naga people declared their Independence, and to pay tribute to the pioneers who fought for their rights and freedom. Let us take a moment to acknowledge the struggles and achievements of the Naga people and continue to strive for unity, peace and progress,” stated a circular by the SDSA.
