Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in collaboration with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Investor Protection Fund (IPF), organised a Regional Investor Seminar for Awareness Program on 27th Feb 2024 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Mon.
The seminar was held to protect the interest of investors in securities, to promote the development and to regulate the securities market. The main objectives of the awareness program were to reach out to the citizens from all walks of life and create awareness about savings and investments. This project is conceived to educate the prospective rural investor so that an individual can understand the benefits of savings, investments and capital formation.
Through the program, citizens can be educated about protecting their hard earned money and creating wealth through smart investing.
According to the information from DIPR, Joy Agarwal AGM, SEBI ERO was the speaker of the seminar while Anil Kumar Thakur BSE -IPF, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS Deputy Commissioner Mon, Rongsenmenla SDO(C) and Shiluwapang Longkumer, NPS Superintendent of Police Mon attended the program.
