The Nagaland State Election Commission in exercise of the provision under section 31 (1) of the Nagaland Municipal Act 2023, has decided to adopt the political parties in principal specifying the names of recognised National and State Parties, Registered Unrecognized Parties and list of free symbols, issued in pursuance of paragraph 17 of the election symbol (Reservation and Allotment), order 1968, as amended from time to time, by Election Commission of India.

Therefore, in pursuance of Rule 19 of Part-III of the Nagaland Municipal Election Rules 2023, the following National Parties and State Parties and their symbols along with free symbols are hereby adopted by the State Election Commission of Nagaland for conduct of election to Ward-11 (Zhipa) of Pfutsero Town Council and as specified as under:
