A large quantity of assorted IMLF, around 700 cases seized by the Mokokchung Police on different occasions was destroyed on December 3. The seized items included rum, whisky, beer and vodka of different brands.

The destruction was carried out at the office premises of the Chief Judicial magistrate, Mokokchung, on December 3 in the presence of the destruction committee led by the SDPO Mokokchung (Chairman), APP, SDO (Civil), DPRO and PI Mokokchung.

Representations from the civil societies led by the President of Ao Senden and Watsu Mungdang were also present throughout the destruction process.
