The Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) donated NPSC and NSSB study materials to the Zisaji Presidency College Library, Kiphire on October 17.
During the event, Longtili C. Sangtam, President of the Seyochung Village Students’ Union, announced that the Union will sponsor 85 percent of the course fees for NPSC and NSSB aspirants (upto 500 interested candidates) from the college who wish to pursue coaching in Kohima or Dimapur.
This initiative aims to encourage and support students from Kiphire in preparing for competitive examinations and building successful public service careers.
The Vice Principal of Zisaji Presidency College, in his address, appreciated the Union’s generous effort and highlighted that Commerce, Technical, and Market oriented courses are much needed in Kiphire to empower students with employable skills and practical knowledge.

The Librarian, K. Chiyuh, extended sincere gratitude to the Seyochung Village Students’ Union for their valuable contribution, stating that the donated study materials will be properly catalogued and made available for students, teachers, and staff to enhance learning and research in the college.
The Union also expressed appreciation to Eduversity Institute, the lead partner for the Triennale Session 2025, for their continuous support, guidance, and provision of necessary study materials to the Union.
Their partnership has been instrumental in helping students gain access to quality resources and educational opportunities.
The college community and the Union described this effort as a meaningful step towards educational growth, community development, and youth empowerment in the district.
