The Shamator Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) / HQ 7 Sector AR on Monday donated wheelchairs to the old and specially abled villagers at District Hospital Noklak.
The wheelchairs were distributed in a simple ceremony at the hospital premise. The recipients were filled with joy, the statement from the Battalion said.

Dr Victor NC, Health Superintendent at District Hospital Noklak appreciated the initiative of the Assam Rifles and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Commandant 14 Assam Rifles for helping local population in the remote district.

Shamator Battalion had on 1 February donated wheelchairs at the Community Health Centre in Shamator.
