The District Level National Role Play and Folk Dance Competition 2023 was organized by the Population Education Cell, SCERT Nagaland in collaboration with NPEP, New Delhi and the Sub-Divisional Education Office, Shamator on the 17th October 2023 at EBRC Hall, Shamator. The panel of judges for the competition were SDEO Shamator Robert N Marathon, Head Teacher of Government Primary School Shipong Khel, L Throngso and Biri.

Government High School Sangkor bagged the first prize in the Role Play Competition, while Government Middle School Shamator “A” was adjudged winner of the Folk Dance Competition. The SDEO Shamator handed over the cash prizes to the winners.

The program was chaired by the program coordinator, Ester, Trainer of Trainees (TOT), Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) Shamator, who gave the highlights of the program. The welcome address was delivered by Robert N Marathon, Sub-Divisional Education Officer, Shamator.
