A two-day girls volley ball coaching-cum open tournament was organized by DHEW-BBBP from 26th – 27th March 2025 concluded on 27th March 2025 at Local Ground Shamator. Altogether 22 team and 150 players participated from Shamator District.

Shipong ward-II emerged as the champion with Government Higher Secondary School ward as the runners up.

DC Shamator, Chubatemjen graced the event as the Special Guest. In his closing remarks he encouraged the young girls to excel and aspire to represent the District in various prestigious or elite competitions. The Tournament was attended by various NGOs officials.
