S. Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, on Saturday, inaugurated the Y. Thsankiu Road at Shamator district, DIPR informed. The approach Road was constructed under the patronage of Yimkhiung Tribal Council in honour of Late Y. Thsankiu, former president of YTC.

The Advisor lauded the YTC and Village leaders for showing a good example as the construction was done through public contribution. He also said that people should not only depend on the Government for development but start to work hard independently so that the government can help in possible ways for better development.

Shamator Deputy Commissioner, Thuvisie Phoji appreciated YTC and Civil Society Organizations for development without depending on Government.

President YTC informed that the approach road was constructed through public contribution. He also said that the road connects Leangkonger Orange Farm to Shungkiu Village covering 3 km.
