The Deputy Commissioner, Shamator, Y. Chingyak Konyak has issued a Travel Advisory for movement of vehicles along the road near Khingro Bridge, Wapher Village in Shamator district.

The DC stated that the advisory was in pursuance to the letter received from the office of the Sub-divisional officer, PWD (NH), Shamator on Wednesday and in view of the damage to road due to erosion and landslide near Khiungro Bridge (Loc KM:165), Wapher village.

As per the Advisory, all movement of heavy vehicles are restricted with immediate effect till restoration works are completed and all small/medium vehicles are also advised to take extreme caution while travelling on the said road.
