The Farmer Exposure Trip is an effort by Shishoi Oshom – ETF Cell- District Administration Wokha, under its one stop centre approach for enrepreneurship development to provide practical skills and knowledge to the agricultural community and to provide appropriate follow up support under credit and marketing schemes of the Government.
The farmers shall receive hands on training at Dimapur in the eco-friendly areca nut leaf plate-making process. It is expected that the training will help the farmers in improving livelihoods and income by subsequently setting up leaf plate making units locally in Wokha. The initiative is supported by NEC Project for delivering key identified services at Lotsu Village and Bhandari Block.
