SIRD conducts district level ToTs programme on leadership development in Wokha

The State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Nagaland, conducted a District Level Training of Trainers (ToTs) Programme on “Leadership Development for Selected Representatives” under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) at Town Hall, Wokha on March 24.

The programme commenced with TMP registration of participants, followed by a welcome address delivered by Project Officer, DRDA Wokha, Ekonthung Ngullie, and the Principal ETC Phek, Suohienuo Keyho provided the course briefing, setting the tone for the day’s sessions. The first session was conducted on the theme “TB Mukt Panchayat” by PMDT Supervisor, Renbemo Yanthan. This was followed by the second and third sessions on “The Nagaland Village and Tribal Council Act, 1978” and “The VDB Model Rules,” presented by Programme Officer, SIRD, Lovika V Yepthomi.

The fourth session focused on “Digital Literacy” and was delivered by Deputy Manager, SBI Wokha, Asolo Rengma, while the final session highlighted “Wokha District Block Overview on NSRLM,” presented by BPM (NSRLM), Chukitong RD Block, Janthungbemo Ezung. The programme concluded with course evaluation and feedback (TMP) conducted by SIRD, and a vote of thanks offered by Dr. C. Nyekha, Senior Faculty, SIRD.
