Runway India, as the skill training partner, successfully completed a comprehensive skill training program on Banana Fibre Extraction and Product Development in Meriyan Village and Elumyo Village in Wokha district and Niropen Colony in Wokha Town.
The key aspects of the training sessions included hands-on experience and practical insights into the process of banana fibre extraction and product development.
The training was organized by Shishoi Oshom- Entrepreneurship Task Force Cell in collaboration with the District Administration of Wokha.
The initiative was generously sponsored by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) under their Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability (CSR & S) scheme for the year 2023-24, ensuring the success of the skill training program while underscoring the importance of corporate social responsibility in driving positive community outcomes.
