A consultative meeting of SMDC, Government Higher secondary school (GHSS) Mangkolemba with the civil societies and the district administration was held on February 22, reported DIPR. The meeting was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Mangkolemba to discuss agendas with regard to construction of School Auditorium, repairing of road connectivity towards the School and shortage of teachers and ministerial staff at GHSS, Mangkolemba.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman SMDC & Principal GHSS Sashikala. After a lengthy deliberation the house resolved to construct School auditorium and constituted a committee with the following members. ADC Mangkolemba as Chairman and Principal GHSS as the member Secretary. Executive Engineer PWD R&B, President Mangkolemba Town students Union (MTSU), President Mangkolemba Town Ao Lanur Telungjem (MALT), Head GB and President Watsu Mangkolemba Unit as members.

Regarding the shortage of teachers and LDA cum Computer Assistant, the house decided to pursue the matter to the higher authority with the assistance of Mangkolemba Town Students Union.
