Sub National Immunization IPPI (Polio Sunday) scheduled from October 12 to 14 began at District Hospital, Phek, on October 12.

ADC Phek, Thejakhrienuo Nisa, NCS, administered the first polio immunization drop of IPPI in the presence of Dr. K. Chitala Hiese, CMO Phek and Dr. Khriekuolie Liezietsû, DPO, Phek. The Universal Immunization Program, IPPI (Polio Sunday) was held in eleven Polio Booths in Phek town.

Kiphire
Along with the rest of India, Kiphire also conducted the Sub – National Immunization Day (SNID) Polio Day on October 12, immunizing all the children under the age of 5 years with two drops of Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) at five locations namely- District Hospital Kiphire,

Local Ground, Traffic point main Town, South Zone Church and at Longthonger Junction. The Polio day was supervised by Dr. Yelo T. Mero, DPO (RCH/UIP).
