ASU, AWO felicitates HSLC AND HSSLC-2023 toppers from Angami community

Project Director, TaFMA, Dr Hovithal Sothu exhorted students not to let social obligations disturb their career until their aims have been achieved. He advised the students to be clear in their aims and ambitions and to be firm to achieve its decision.

Dr Sothu said this at the felicitation programme for meritorious Angami students of HSLC and HSSLC-2023 organised by Angami Students’ Union and Angami Women Organisation at AWO Ki, Kohima on Tuesday, DIPR informed.

Speaking on the occasion as the speaker, he applauded the students who have topped in their early career of HSLC and HSSLC stating that this is a first step to success in their life. Dr Sothu expressed thar he was excited to learn that the recently declared results have improved from previous years’, and that 24 students from the community made to the merit list.

He urged students as well as parents not to be complacent with their achievements and further to remain consistent in continuing their hard labour. The TaFMA project director also advised that if at all needed, to go for career guidance and counselling to grasp the right decision at their early stage of life.

Dr Sothu expressed that though ‘The road may not be smooth as expected in one’s career’, the failures should not be a hindrance to one’s life. He therefore advised them to struggle hard with courage and energy. He concluded by adding ‘Work hard in silence and let the success make the noise’.
