On December 15, 2024, under the theme “Be the Light” the Sohomi Baptist Church Women Department concluded its 75th Anniversary since its humble beginning in the year 1949.
The day began with the unveiling of Monolith stone by the Jubilee speaker Neingupeϋ Kazhie Rhakho, CBCC Women Secretary. The speaker delivered a powerful message under the theme “Be the Light” by being a living witness in the eyes of God and men.

The programme was chaired by Shetsulu Tsory, convenor of the jubilee who extended warm jubilee greetings to one and all present for the gathering. The jubilee choir was represented by the Sohomi parent’s choir and the Youth Department respectively. The Jubilee Souvenir was released by
Dirakhu Nuwiry, Pastor, Sohomi Baptist Church while Jubilee greetings was presented by Hichϋlo Nuwiry, Chairperson, TABCC Women Department. A grand Jubilee feast followed after the programme for all the delegates and invitees.
The event co’cluded with a strong sense of unity and gratitude as the members and attendees reflected on 75 years of God’s faithfulness and to step into the future with the mission of service, peace and love, informed a press release.
