The distribution of solar home lighting system to 200 rural household ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) under Nagaland State was held today, informed the DIPR.
The AIDA in collaboration with St. Xavier College, Jalukie held the distribution at Auditorium Hall, St. Xavier College Jalukie, Peren.
Gracing the occasion as the special guest Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar IAS expressed appreciated St. Xavier College for organising the programme. He said that such programmes will the sustain life for the rural villages. He also encouraged the gathering to take active part in social activities and enhance social endeavour. The DC added that the priority of the people can define what the society is doing and that they can transform the society by participating in such social activities.

SDB Executive Director AIDA, Rev. Fr. Roy George in his speech mentioned that it is the first phase in Nagaland distributing home lighting system to 200 households and in the coming days, 800 solar system will be installed.
During the distribution programme, Nsong village, Old Ngaulong village, Beisumpuiloa village and Lalong village received the solar home lighting system which were handed over by the Deputy Commissioner Peren.
