Special camp for identification and benchmarking of PwD electors in Kohima

In connection with the ongoing Special Summary Revision of the Photo Electoral Roll for 2024, the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Kohima, in collaboration with the H&FW Department, is set to conduct a Three-Day Special Camp from November 22 to 24.

According to DIPR, the timings for the camp are from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK). The primary focus of the camp is the identification and benchmarking of registered Persons with Disabilities (PwD) electors in Kohima District, specifically those with 40 percent or more disability.

All registered PwD electors falling under the jurisdiction of Kohima District have been urged to take advantage of this opportunity. This process is crucial for benchmarking and ensuring the accuracy of the electoral roll, taking into account the unique needs and considerations of PwD electors, mentioned the DIPR.
