In a moment of pride for Nagaland, Captain Regina Razousinuo, ANO of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama was adjudged the Best Associate NCC Officer (Female) in entire North East Region for the year 2022-23, adding another feather to the cap.

Captain Razousinuo was awarded during the North East NCC Summit held on 20 September 2023 at NCC Directorate NE Region, Shillong, Meghalaya. During the summit Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), representing the North Eastern states under NER NCC Directorate, were felicitated by Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Meghalaya.

Altogether 16 teachers were awarded for their utmost sincerity, professionalism and exemplary service in NCC for the year 2022-23.

Whereas, Lt Rokovinuo, ANO of Don Bosco College, Kohima, affiliated to 1 Nagaland Girls’ Battalion NCC, Kohima was also awarded the Best Associate NCC Officer (Female) for the state of Nagaland.

Lt Gen Sanjay Mallik, GOC, 101 Area, Shillong, Maj Gen Gagan Deep, ADG, NCC Dte NER, Group Commanders of all NCC Groups of NCC Directorate, NER were present on the occasion.
