The National Cadet Corps (NCC) of St Xavier College Jalukie (SXCJ) organised a one-day training camp at SXCJ campus on 29 October.
The training was conducted by the Nagaland NCC Ex-Cadet Association.
CTO Viketuonuo and seven Nagaland NCC Ex-Cadet Association executives attended the training along with the college NCC cadets.
The main motive behind this training was to provide the upcoming cadets with incisive learning and awareness to prepare them for getting jobs in the near future, especially for those who wish to join the armed forces as officers or other ranks.
Some significant activities that were undertaken during the training camp included Armless Drill, Obstacle, Map Reading, History of NCC and Weapon Theory Class.
Bombo K Yeptho, the Info and Media Controller of the Nagaland NCC Ex-Cadet Association, stated that the Association was “overjoyed” and that it offered Father Francis S Cheerangal, the principal of SXCJ, its highest praise for “not only being very hospitable but also being very supportive towards the NCC Cadets with much enthusiasm and inspiring them in every manner imaginable.”
The Association also sent their best wishes to St Xaviers College NCC, stating that it anticipated more collaborative camps in the future “that will foster the development of NCC Cadets.”
“The Nagaland NCC Ex Cadets Association is always ready to offer and serve the nation with valuable needs,” it stated.
