Star Gazer, with support from Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), is organising its first Edition of Singing Competition at Kiphire with the motto ‘Uncover and Elevate Raw Talents’. The contest is being organised with the aim to promote talent at local level and encourage young people in the field of Arts and Entertainment, the organisers told Nagaland Tribune.

The organising committee had on 10 September conducted an online audition for the interested candidates. Thereafter the screening round for selected participants was held on 12 September at Cafe 5.18, Kiphire, where the contestants were briefed on the competition. The semi-final and the final rounds are expected to be held in the month of November 2022.

Star Gazer is an entertainment group that associates with arts and entertainment promotion. The Kiphire-based group aims to organize such competition or events related to arts and entertainment even in years to come as well as to give the opportunity to youths to discover and refine their talents.
