In accordance with relevant provisions of Rule 20 of the Nagaland Municipal Election Rules, 2023, the State Election Commission has notified the Election Programme for conduct of general election to three Municipal Councils and 36 Town Councils in the State as per the schedule given below:

In another notification, State Election Commission has informed that in exercise of the provisions as provided for under sub-rule (3) and sub-rule (4) of Rule 20 of the Nagaland Municipal Election Rules, 2023, the under mentioned list of Officers designated as Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers against their respective municipalities by the Deputy Commissioner concerned have been approved by the State Election Commission, Nagaland for the conduct of General Election to the Municipal/Town Councils, 2024 in the State:
