State Level Youth Festival in Guitar Recital, Quiz and Essay Writing competition was held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima with S. Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor Youth Resources and Sports as the special guest on Friday, DIPR stated.
Addressing the gathering, the Advisor said it was a great honour and privilege to be around all the young participants who had come from different disciplines, in order to take part in this competition and that participating itself was an achievement. The participation should be memorable and a learning experience irrespective of the outcome of the competition, and that many of the youths keep up everything so easily and many of them become irresponsible after facing failure or success. In this regard, he said that the sky is the limit for those who struggle for the best avenues lie ahead, “the person who take every step as a new challenge in a positive prospect with self-dedication and devotion are the person who reaches its destiny,” he added.
He urged all the congregations to support each other in every possible way to promote and take forward young generations to greater heights in the near future, “We all must take responsibility not an obligation to nurture our young and upcoming generations if we all want to see our society move forward,” Advisor said.
