The Naga traditional game of stilt bamboo race was held at the Amphitheatre, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima on December 2.

A total of 15 participants competed in the local category, showcasing balance, speed, and skill. After a closely contested race, Armon Sangma of the Garo community clinched the first position, followed by Künükhrüyi Dozo of the Chakhesang community in second place and Birimong of the Yimkhiung community in third.

The event was organised by the Department of Youth Resources & Sports. The tourist category of the stilt bamboo race is scheduled to take place at the same venue on December 3.
