Three students and a teacher from Nagaland were selected to take part in the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 programme with PM Modi held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on 27 January.
Visali Z Sangtam, a class 11 student from Livingstone Foundation International School, Dimapur; Hansuja Medhi, a class 10 student from Delhi Pubic School, Dimapur and Mompy Boruah, a teacher from Army Public School, Rangapahar, Dimapur were selected to participate at the programme on the basis of their performance in the online competition conducted by the ministry of Education, a press release informed.
Meanwhile, Nyemjun Konyak, a class 10 student from Government Higher Secondary School, Diphupar, who secured second position at the National Kala Utsav Competition under the category – Indigenous Toys and Games – also attended the programme.
The interaction programme was broadcast live by Doordarshan through DD National, DD News and DD India. It was also made available through live airing on radio channels (All India Radio Medium Wave, All India Radio FM Channel) and other live web streaming services.

All schools in Nagaland were also directed by the department of School Education (DoSE) to make necessary arrangements at their schools so that all students from Class 6 and above may view/hear the deliberations of the live telecast.
Kevileno Angami, Commissioner & Secretary, School Education; Thavaseelan K, Principal Director, School Education; Aseno Sekhose, Chairman, NBSE; Keviraleu Kerhuo, Additional Director, SCERT; and senior officers from DoSE joined the students and teachers of Dr Neilhouzhii Kire Government Higher Secondary School, Seikhazou, Kohima in viewing the live telecast.
