The Students Science Fair (Seminar and Exhibition) cum Quartet Competition was held at St. Paul School, Noklak. The Science Fair was organised by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) and sponsored by Ministry of Culture Nagaland and showcased projects ranging from environmental solutions to cutting-edge technology.
Meanwhile, the Quartet Competition was sponsored by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) to mark its 50th Anniversary and displayed the incredible talents of the students and their vocal ranges.
For the Science Fair, the students competed in the category of Science Exhibition under the topic “Science and Technology for the Society”, while the topic for the Science Seminar was “Artificial Intelligence: Potential and Concern.”
Kongkhao Lushing, Principal, GHSS Noklak and SDEO Noklak, in his brief address, encouraged the students to develop competitive spirit. With the rapid environmental changes prevailing which threatens the lives of animals and humans, one should make oneself physically strong and healthy and equipped with scientific knowledge to survive, he stated. Lushing expressed hope that the program will encourage the upcoming generation to uphold scientific knowledge for better advantage.
The competition, which featured participants witnessed an impressive array of projects and talents as well as projects that demonstrated the creativity of young people.
