The State Level Science Fair 2022, organised by the Directorate of School Education, Nagaland, was held on 7 October at Bethesda Higher Secondary School, Dimapur with Thavaseelan K Principal Director, School Education as the Special Guest.
Altogether 11 participants from 11 districts participated in the Science Seminar and 30 participants from 10 Districts participated in the Science exhibition.
The winners of the different categories are as follows:

- First place: Tsupongla Shillen, Minister’s Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School Kohima
- Second place: Jennifer Dukru, Bishop Abraham Memorial School Phek
- Third place: Shelly K Kiba, Olympic Higher Secondary School Zunheboto
State Level Science Exhibition (Individual Category)
- First place: Kumdang Naro, Wela Foundation School Tuensang
- Second place: Jemmenaro Walling, Bridges Academy, Changtongya Mokokchung
- Third place: Vebulu Shijoh, Bishop Abraham Memorial School Phek
State Level Science Exhibition (Group Category)
- First place: Sourav Das and Suman Das, Bethesda Higher Secondary School Dimapur
- Second place: Archita Ghosh and Viani, St Mary’s Higher Secondary School Dimapur
- Third place: Thungdy Tonen and Welen Monyu, Wela Foundation School Tuensang
The panel of judges for this year’s State Level Science Fair were Onongoto Soleho, Chief Mentor, Innovation Hub & Space Education Centre, Vetho Lohe, PGT, SD Jain Hr Sec School, Dimapur, and Ayeto Swu, Graduate Teacher (Science), GHSS Singrijan.
Earlier in the program, the Special Guest exhorted the students about the eight tenets of life. He encouraged the students to keep faith in God, respect their parents, take responsibility for whatever comes in their life, inculcate good habits, work hard, to be humble, nice and kind to everyone.
The programme began with the invocation of God’s blessing by Rev Moses Murry and a Welcome Address by Chabungbam Johnson Singh, Principal, Bethesda Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
The Keynote Address was given by Visetonuo Angami, Nodal Officer (Science Seminar and Exhibition). The students of Bethesda Higher Secondary School, Dimapur presented a special song and finally, a vote of thanks was pronounced by Hokheto Yeptho, ADEO, Dimapur.
