TaFMA Open House Wokha 2.0 launched with Vintage Chord

Wokha: Proceeds from event to be used to fund the musical course for underprivileged child

TaFMA Open House Wokha 2.0 was launched at 60’s Retro Cafe with Vintage Chord on Saturday. The band covered ten of 80’s and 90’s rock including songs from Mr. Big, Firehouse, Judas Priest, White Lion, CCR and Smokie. Vintage Chord also played their original ‘Fly High Again’ in the event.

The guest artist was Sangma Samuel who enthralled the house full crowd with several of his original songs and also an Elvis Presley’s cover.

Meanwhile, TaFMA Wokha partner, Mhademo Ennio thanked Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for his genuine attention to music and art in the state. He also lauded the tireless efforts of TaFMA Chairman Theja Meru to make music and art an industry in the state while appreciating and admiring Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, TaFMA for his intelligent administration.

A free will donation box was kept during the event, the proceeds of which will be used to fund the musical course for an underprivileged child.
