A new children’s book titled Tanelaren Lenitsü Ajok was launched today at Multipurpose Hall, Kumlong Baptist Arogo, Mokokchung.
The book is written by Moanaro Imchen, author of bestselling children’s books Mihenc’s Family & The Christmas Cake and Chichiba tembar.
The book was released by Kikum Longkumer, pastor of Kumlong Baptist Arogo.
Temjen Tzudir, secretary of the Ao Senden Literature Board (ASLB) gave a brief book review during which he informed that the book, while targeted towards children, has a lot of lessons for adults to reflect upon.
Tzudir stated that the book consists of 90 chapters containing narratives of the author’s experience in her walks of life. He expressed his hope that many people would be blessed through the book.
The ASLB secretary also informed that the Ao senden is very proud of the author who, he added, has done a brilliant work in advancing the Ao literature board into greater heights.
“God’s blessings come from small things”, remarked Imchen during the author’s note. Reflecting on the Covid pandemic, she said the difficult times have given her the determination to share the word of God to children through various available means of communication and that she has found the best way to utilise her passion through writing books.
The author appreciated the church members for supporting her morally and financially in times of need. She also expressed gratitude to her mentors and her family who encouraged and supported her through her journey.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Rachel Jamir, associate pastor women of KBA while Jonglemdong, deacon, pronounced the invocation. Dr R Zulu Jamir, associate pastor of KBA, delivered the benediction.
Tanelaren Lenitsü Ajok is priced at Rs 300 and will be available in book stalls around Mokokchung.
