On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Nagaland Governor La Ganesan has greeted the incredible educators who inspire, guide, and shape young minds. In a post on X platform, the Governor stated that teachers’ dedication lights the path of knowledge and growth and expressed gratitude for making a difference every day.

In another post, the Governor paid tributes to former President of India, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day. He said that the president was a beacon of knowledge and an architect of modern education in India and added that Dr. S. Radhakrishnan’s contributions will forever shape India’s educational landscape.

In his greetings, the Chief Minister said that teachers are mentors, guides and role models.

He urged teachers to remain committed and devoted to their noble profession and also assured that the State Government is committed to empowering and supporting them in building their capacities to equip future-ready generations.

The Deputy CM wished all educators a Happy Teachers’ Day and hailed them as “sowers of seeds of knowledge that grow forever and shape the course of many young lives.”

He also encouraged teachers to continue with patience, wisdom and unwavering support as their teachings extend far beyond textbooks.

The NSF extended its heartfelt greetings and profound gratitude to all the educators for their service and sacrifice and honoured teachers’ unwavering commitment, patience, and love.

The Federation acknowledged teachers for continuously adapting to the challenges and demands of modern education. Despite these challenges, you continue to rise to the occasion, ensuring that the values of hard work, integrity, and respect are instilled in every student under your care, it stated.

The NSF hailed the critical role teachers play in shaping the future of the ‘Naga homeland’ and the invaluable impact they have on the lives of countless students. Your dedication lays the foundation for a society rooted in knowledge, compassion, and unity, it added.
