Thanksgiving service of Ward 13 Councillor K. Asangla Jamir held

The thanksgiving service cum celebration of ULB elected Councillor K. Asangla Jamir from ward 13, Lower Chandmari, Kohima took place at Chandmari Gorkha Public Panchayat Hall in Kohima on July 11.

Jamir was elected to Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) in the recent ULB Election 2024 on Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) party ticket from Ward 13.

In her speech, Jamir assured to give her best service for the welfare and overall development of the colony. The Councillor appreciated all the members of Ward 13 for reposing faith in her and electing her to represent them in the KMC. She thanked NDPP party workers for their guidance and support throughout the electioneering process.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Jamir expressed hope that Kohima town will be fully developed and that the welfare and developmental packages reach every corner of Kohima municipality. “My door will always be open  for all of you. Together, we will march forward and make the colony a better place to live in.” said Jamir seeking cooperation and support from all the members of the ward.

Former Minister Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, Krodiho Kennao, President, NDPP 9th Kohima town AC and Kechangulie Kense, Genral Secretary, NDPP Kohima Region delivered short speeches.

The programme was led by Benchachila while a vote of thanks was proposed by Ayimpongla Aier.
