The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) today called for the responsible participation of all the eligible voters to actively engage in the democratic election process. “By making informed and conscientious decisions, voters can contribute to a fair and effective representation of their interest and concerns at the national level. We urge all the voters in Nagaland to exercise their right to vote with careful consideration and to prioritize the well being of the community and country,” stated the AKM.

Drawing attention to the power of every citizen’s vote, the AKM noted that the act of voting is not merely a right but a sacred duty that shapes the destiny of the nation. The Conference expressed the need for all the voters in Nagaland to choose their candidate/party wisely for the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha General Election 2024.

“In this journey of democracy, let our votes resonate with the ideals of justice, equality, and progress. As we approach election, let us remember that the power to transform our nation lies within our hands, within our votes. By selecting a candidate wisely and encouraging everyone to exercise their rights, we fortify the foundations of a robust democracy, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come,” stated the AKM.
