The Tuensang Voice, on August 18, visited Bazaar C,NST ward and two relief camps, where its members interacted with sector and ward leaders and handed over the financial aid to the affected families at the relief camp.
The funds were raised by well-wishers’ donations, which started from August 6 till 15 in order to support the affected families.
The recent landslides occurred on April 16 amid heavy rainfall, affecting a total number of 378 houses with 25 houses completely destroyed, 47 several damaged and 307 partially damaged. Around 768 individuals have been displaced from Phinjang sector, St. John A ward and NST ward with temporary shelter set up at the relief camp

The Tuensang Voice is group involved in social activism, formed in the year 2012 by like-minded members in Tuensang District. Their main objective is to help each other in times of needs and to inspire the people. The Tuensang Voice has been involved in various community services in Tuensang district such as Mission pothole, cleanliness drives, renovation of the Tower clock, maternity ward and constructing a space for healing patient park at the District hospital Tuensang.
