The ICFAI University Nagaland, Dimapur celebrated the 3rd Edition IUN youth festival at ICFAI campus on Friday.
The event special guest Sashila Ozukum, Adminstrator, Hope Academy shared festival greetings, expressing optimism on the celebration of the vibrancy of the youth.
Hard work is the cornerstone of achievement and perseverance, said Ozukum who noted that, as “we merge ourselves in the festivities of IUN, it takes every opportunity to express ourselves to collaborate with one another and push the boundary of creativity together, to create a future that is shaped not by shortcuts but by unwavering pursue of success.”
Ozukum spoke about her personal journey of Hope Academy and shared that determination and dedication are the foundation to build success. According to Ozukum, even the hardest task can be minimised, if one does not give up too easily but have faith in the face adversity
She also mentioned about doubt and fear let’s sit back define ourselves beside seeing them as the stepping stones to growth and success this tendency to abounds to pursue at the first sight of difficulties roads are found with opportunity to uncover and untrue potential to emerge stronger on the other side.
She also encouraged the youths to shed their reservations, viewing that Nagas have a tendency to either put themselves back or move forward worried about what others people will say.

The event was chaired by Akhangnongba,MCA, and invocation pronounced by Avungthung Ngullie, EU, IUN. The welcome note was delivered by Dr.Saudarjya Borbara, Vice chancellor IUN while a brief highlight on the IUN youth festival was shared by Avipra sapruna, Literary and Cultural Secretary, Students Council IUN. Special presentation was delivered by T.Bendangkumla Jamir, BA while the vote of thanks was presented by Gaidinmei Pamei, Assistant General Secretary Students Council IUN.
The inaugural was followed by photography exhibition, poetry slam, arm wrestling, mobile games, painting, recycled craft, drama, dance competition, cosplay and concert.
