Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung graced the third session of the Shamator District GBs Association (SDGBA) as the special guest at Anatongre Village, Shamator on March 7, informed DIPR.

Speaking on the occasion, the Advisor advocated for peace, stating that growth and prosperity of the society can be achieved only through it. He added that if there is no peace and harmony, it would be impossible to strengthen any political, social and economic growth. Yimkhiung added that these are indispensable elements for progress and prosperity of mankind and society.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by General Secretary SDGBA, S. Tochimong. Welcome Address was delivered by Kiusthong, VP SDGBA and Keynote address by J. Kiumukam, President SDGBA. Short speeches were delivered by Yansumong, HD GB Anatongre, Laji Luyanba, General Secretary YTC and P. Timong, President TTC also while vote of thanks was proposed by Wongtsukiu Ex Chairman.
