Three-Days Entrepreneurship Development Programme held in Shamator

Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) and Swavalambam Connect Kendra (SCK) Shamator District has successfully conducted three-days Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) in partnership with Educentre School of Business at the Deputy Commissioner office Shamator. The three day training was from 26th-29th October 2024 and is part of a flagship program supported by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Government of Nagaland.

The EDP aim is to empower local entrepreneurs by providing them with essential skills and knowledge for starting and managing their own businesses effectively.

The program was witnessed by over 135 participants from Shamator District highlighting a significant interest in entrepreneurship within the community.

The sessions included various topics such as business planning, financial management, marketing strategies and digital tools for business enhancement. Expert trainers facilitated interactive workshops that encouraged participants to engage actively and share their experiences.

The successful completion of this Entrepreneurship Development Programme marks a significant step towards fostering an entrepreneurial culture in Shamator. By empowering local entrepreneurs through education and resources, SCK aims to contribute positively to economic development for the people of Nagaland.
