The Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) has announced that the tools down strike scheduled to commence from October 27 has been kept on hold.

In a circular issued on Thursday, the Committee informed that a meeting was held with the Chief Secretary of Nagaland on his invitation where it considered that “the Cabinet would be taking a decision on the matter of selection of Non SCS officers into the IAS.”

The JCC comprising of the CANSSEA, FONSESA, NIDA, NSSA & NF&ASA had earlier warned of intensifying their protest with the tools down strike.
