Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) has declared Total Shutdown in Eastern Nagaland jurisdiction on Thursday (28th March 2024) in view of the Eastern Nagaland Public Meeting at Tuensang. The shutdown will be effective from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
On Thursday’s meeting, Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union (ENLU) is expected to brief the public about the MLAs meeting with officials of Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi due to which they could not attend the 19th March meeting.

The meeting will also perhaps provide clarity on the call for boycotting the Lok Sabha elections to be conducted in Nagaland on 19th April 2024.
Eastern Nagaland Public Emergency Control Room Tuensang Headquarter further informed that the following will be exempted from the Total Shutdown:
– District Administration
– Police & Paramilitary Forces
– Power Dept
– Fire & Emergency Services
– Medical Emergencies/Media
– PHED
– Delegates coming for the proposed meeting with vehicles
