Total shutdown of 132kV Transmission Lines on 17th and 18th February 2024 will affect power supply in five districts including Mokokchung, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Longleng and Mon.

The Shutdown is necessitated for annual maintenance works at 220/132 kV Power grid (Settsu) & 132/66/33kV Mokokchung Sub-stations, the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung informed in a press release on Thursday.

“This is for the information to all consumers under Mokokchung Transmission Division that there will be Total shutdown of 132kV Transmission Lines on 17th & 18th Feb’2024 from 13:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs”, the press release stated.

The power department has appealed to the public for cooperation and to bear with the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
