In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, training of polling personnel are currently underway in various parts of Nagaland.
DIPR has reported that the District Commissioner & District Election Officer, Longleng Dharam Raj IAS inaugurated the 1st Phase training for polling personal of Longleng for the upcoming Lok Shaba election 2024 was held on March 30, at Auditorium GHSS Bautung, longleng.
Stating that election process is the essence of democratic country like ours, the DC & DEO in his short speech, said that he was confident that each polling personnel will perform their respective responsibility without failure. At the same time the DC also called upon all the legible voters to participate in free and fair election.
Assistant Election Officer, Longleng urged the trainees to seek assistance from the Master Trainers whenever required and stressed the importance of seeking clarification to enhance their understanding and efficiency in carrying out their responsibilities.
The inaugural program was chaired by EAC and Nodal Officer of training management, Vitolu Chishi. He also proposed the welcome address. The training was divided into two sessions and ended with the hands-on EVMs, VVPATs demonstration. The next 2nd phase training will be held on April 9.

Kiphire
In view of the forthcoming General Election to the Lok Sabha 2024, the training of Sector Magistrate, Flying Squad Teams and Micro Observers was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Kiphire on March 30. Dr. I. Temjentoshe Ozukum, Gagan Ch. Mishra and Vika Sumi were the Master Trainers, informed DIPR.
SDO (Civil) Kiphire, Sulanthung was the main speaker of the training programme.

In view of the upcoming General Election to the Lok Sabha 2024 Election, 1st Phase Training for Mon District Polling Personnel was conducted for both men and women Polling Officials at GHSS Mon and Town Council Hall, Mon respectively today.
ADC Mon, K. Temjennaro Longkumer welcomed and briefed the roles and responsibilities of the Polling Officers. She encouraged all the trainees that as a government servant it is our duty and also a privilege to take part in choosing our leaders. She also urged them to work with dedication as a team for the successful conduct of the election. EAC, Mon Nyamok Konyak also briefed the women Polling Personnel about the roles and responsibilities of the Polling Officers.
Master trainers for women Polling Personnel were: Mary, Opentsani and Chenkang Konyak. While Master trainers for Men Polling Personnel were: Dokingla, Honya Chingyah, H. David Konyak, Neangnyu Konyak, H. Benjamin Konyak, W. Kawang Konyak, W. Bangkai Konyak, T. Limawapang, C.H. Manwang Konyak, Chingkai, Doklong M. Phom, and Yangto.
