The Shishoi-Oshom-Entrepreneur Task Force (ETF) cell, Wokha and NSRLM, Wokha in collaboration with the Nagaland Tool-Room & Training Centre, Dimapur organised a 10 days training on banana fibre extraction and handicrafts development commenced at Pangti and Elumyo village of Wokha district on March 12.

The training aims to empower rural communities through skill development initiatives. With 30 participants from each village, the training programme kick started at the respective village community hall, providing hands on training and practical knowledge in banana fibre extraction and handicrafts development, informed DIPR.
