Training on educational management and administration held at SIEMAT, SCERT

The State Institute of Educational Management & Training (SIEMAT), in collaboration with the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, organized a five-day training session on Educational Management and Administration for Educational Administrators at SIEMAT, SCERT Kohima. According to DIPR, the training was held from February 6 to February 10.

Kevirale-ű Kerhuo, Director of SCERT, extended a warm welcome to all participants and expressed gratitude for their attendance at the training program. She emphasized the role of Educational Administrators in shaping the future of countless individuals and the overall landscape of school education.

Kerhuo highlighted the initiation of various educational programs and missions by both the Centre and the State, stressing that Educational Administrators at the district level serve as the administrative heads of their respective areas. She underscored that any program or policy related to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 would be disseminated under their leadership.

The training witnessed the participation of 24 Educational Managers and Functionaries from the Directorate of School Education (DOSE), District Education Officers (DEOs) from all districts, and officials from SCERT.
