In preparation for the upcoming general election to the 18th Lok Sabha in 2024, a one-day training session was conducted on March 4, at the DC Conference Hall, Mokokchung, informed the DIPR. The training was aimed at equipping the Expenditure Monitoring Team (EEM) and Nodal Officers of Enforcement Agencies with the necessary skills and knowledge for their election-related duties.
Renben Mozhui, Assistant Election Officer of Mokokchung, provided an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the officials entrusted with election-related duties. His briefing focused on ensuring the smooth conduct of the election process.

Er. Mechietsho Koza, serving as the EAC Chuchuyimlang and Nodal Officer for EEM, delivered a PowerPoint presentation during the training session. His presentation emphasized on the guidelines pertaining to Election Expenditure Monitoring, stressing its crucial role in upholding the principles of free, fair, and peaceful elections.
The training session included practical insights and guidelines to enable the officials to effectively carry out their duties in monitoring election expenditures and enforcing regulations.
