A training on First Aid and First Responder organised by the Bayavü Youth Organisation and conducted by the Home Guards’ Civil Defence, State Disaster Response Force was held on June 12 at Rengma Sector Church Building Bayavü.
A press release by the Bayavü Youth Organisation informed that the training on bandaging, CPR and Emergency Method of Rescue was provided to the youths of the locality keeping in mind the importance of having first aid and first responders from within the locality who can help as volunteers in times of crisis. “Having individuals equipped with the knowledge and skills to administer basic first aid can make a significant difference in the outcome of an emergency situation. Whether it be providing CPR to someone experiencing cardiac arrest, controlling bleeding from an injury, or stabilizing a victim until professional medical help arrives, the ability to act swiftly and confidently can be the determining factor between life and death.,” informed the BYO which expressed its gratitude to the Home Guards’ Civil Defence, State Disaster Response Force.

The BYO also extended its gratitude to the Rengma Baptist Sector Fellowship Bayavü for permitting the use of their building for conducting the training, the Bayavü Women’s Organisation for helping out in the mess and Avilie Rio for sponsoring the Training programme.
