The Directorate of Treasury and Accounts in continuation to circular No. DTA-PEN-NPS/6/2017/2705-08 dated 13th June 2025, has reminded all DDOs to ensure that pending e-NPS contributions made through e-NPS challan are updated on the Nodal Treasury portal by September 15.
In a notification, the directorate stated that Action Taking Report (ATR) on the backlog updating done to be forwarded to Directorate of Treasury and Accounts, Kohima by September 30. In case of any difficulty or issue while updating on the e-NPS portal, the same are to be brought to the notice of the directorate office at the earliest.

DDOs have been further advised to regularly download and securely maintain the archived data from the e-NPS portal. “This practice not only facilitates routine compliance for verification, reconciliation, and audit, but also ensures contingency preparedness by safeguarding records for restoration in case of any system malfunction or database failure,” an official bulletin stated.
