Tribal Artisans Empanelment Mela was organised by Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), Ministry of Tribal Affairs at Niuland on 23rd July 2024, DIPR has informed.

Addressing the event, Deputy Commissioner, Niuland, Sara S. Jamir thanked the TRIFED team for organising the mela in the district and urged them to pave the way in opening the markets for the indigenous and tribal products both in India and across the world, which would help the artisans to earn livelihood.

The DC also encouraged the TRIFED team to study the demands of the people and suggest necessary feedbacks to meet the market requirements.
