Sangtam Baptist Lithro Tuensang Town (SBLTT) held a weeklong Vacation Bible School (VBS) from, 26 June till 2 July 2023, under the theme “Serve One Another” (Galatians 5:13). The six days of extensive class was followed by a talent show on the seventh day where the children displayed their talents and learnings to their parents.

Each day of the VBS was based on everyday themes – “We are Called to Serve”, “Serve with all Your Heart”, “Serve on Love”, “Serve with Humility”, “Serve the Poor and Needy” and “Serve with Your Gift”. The resource persons were Linghola Sangtam, Christian Education Supervisor, SBLTT; Pastor Imsujungba, SBLTT; Throngtsali, President, SBLYM; and Lirili Sangtam, Director and Proprietor of Tuensang School of Music.

A total of 564 children attended the VBS held at Tuensang town where the curriculum was not only restricted towards the biblical education but rather by infusing socio-education.

The concept of naming the classes was also based on animal names which resembled the children’s persona such as “puppies” for the beginners as they exhibited their character as cute and adorable like puppies. Like-wise all the other classes also had similar names depending upon their age and character
